  • Trump Assaults the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court issued an order. The executive branch shrugged.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia — a Maryland resident — was deported to a mega-prison in El Salvador by mistake. The court said: bring him back.
The response? “That’s up to El Salvador.”

Oh, of course. Because nothing says “constitutional republic” like ignoring the highest court in the land and outsourcing due process to a foreign authoritarian government.

This isn't policy. It's not a "difference of opinion."
It's defiance. Of the Constitution. Of the rule of law. Of the most basic human decency.

We’ve now entered the “let’s disappear people and dare the courts to stop us” phase of the experiment.

And if you think this only affects immigrants — bless your heart.
If they can deport someone in violation of a Supreme Court order today, they can deport you tomorrow.

    This is not satire.
    This is not dystopia.
    This is America, April 2025.

🔥 We are in DEFCON ONE.
🧑‍⚖️ Due process is not optional.
🇺🇸 And if the courts can't enforce justice, the people must.

  • 🔥 The Emergency Is Here -- This Is Not A Drill

In 1776, our founders fought a revolutionary war against the King of England because they believed no person should be imprisoned or punished without due process.
No person should be above the law.
And no citizen should live in fear of government abuse.

Almost 250 years later, that foundation — our core American promise — is crumbling.

Today, the President of the United States is openly working to deport people without trial, without evidence, and without due process.

    And not just immigrants.
He wants to deport American citizens.
To prisons in El Salvador — infamous for their brutality — and designed, in the words of their own justice minister, to hold people until they die.

    Let me repeat that:
The President of the United States is considering sending American citizens to foreign prisons — with no trial, no hearing, and no way to come home.

This is not a fringe conspiracy.
This is not six months away.
    This is not “just talk.”

    It’s happening. Right now.

  • How Trump’s Second Term Is Hurting America And Working Families — And Why I’m Fighting Back

The Rogue Presidency: How Trump is Destroying What Made America Great

By Dave Karson, Democratic candidate for Congress in CA-41

In just a few months, Donald Trump has done what our worst enemies never could: shaken the foundations of America’s credibility, stability, and global leadership.

He isn’t restoring greatness — he’s unraveling it.

Investors are fleeing our markets. The dollar is weakening. Treasury yields are rising — which means interest rates on mortgages, cars, and credit cards will spike for everyday Americans.

Our closest allies? They’re issuing burner phones to staff visiting the U.S. — a security measure once reserved for trips to China. That’s how far we’ve fallen.

  • The United States of Retribution and Fear

    This Isn’t Justice. It’s a Vendetta.

Trump Has Crossed the Rubicon. And He's Not Coming Back Alone.

Welcome to the United States of Retribution. Where criticizing the President is now grounds for criminal investigation. Where doing your job — protecting democracy, telling the truth — can get you sanctioned by executive order.

Miles Taylor. Christopher Krebs. These aren’t anarchists or partisans. These are career public servants — conservative ones — who had the courage to say, “No, Mr. President, that’s not how America works.”
And for that, they’re now being targeted by name. Investigated. Threatened.

    Let’s be clear:

This isn’t about left vs. right. This is about right vs. wrong.
This is about Donald Trump using the Department of Justice to go after his critics — and rewarding the people who assaulted our democracy on January 6th.

    This isn’t law and order.
This is authoritarianism in a suit and tie.

He’s not just crossing the Rubicon.
He’s bulldozing it — with the full power of the Presidency behind him.

  • Trump's Tariffs Crash Stock Market, Sink Economy

🚨BREAKING: Stocks Crater - DOW DOWN 1,500 POINTS!

    Trump’s Tariff Tsunami Begins

And just like that, the “Art of the Deal” has turned into the “Art of Economic Devastation.”

    • 10% blanket tariff on everything imported.
    • 25% tariff on vehicles.
    • Up to 50% tariffs on targeted countries.
    • China slammed with 34% on top of the existing 45%.
    • Vietnam? 46% tariff. Welcome to the party.
    • GDP? Circling the drain.
    • Inflation? Buckle up.

Liberation Day? You mean liberation from affordable goods, from global partnerships, from economic sanity?

  • Tariffs Alone Won’t Save American Cars — They Might Just Bury Them

A new 25% tariff on Chinese EVs might sound like “America First.” But here’s the truth: it risks turning the U.S. auto industry into an expensive, isolated island — while China races ahead to dominate the global electric future.

This isn’t speculation. History shows us what happens when we wall off competition:

    • The Chicken Tax of the 1960s locked American automakers into a gas-guzzler mindset — making us less competitive and less fuel-efficient.
    • Trump’s reworked trade deal raised wages on parts production to levels that pushed out Mexico, killing the cost advantage.
    • Now, high tariffs and tangled supply chains are jacking up prices and causing layoffs — while Chinese brands like BYD flood world markets with ultra-affordable, fast-charging EVs.

We’re not defending American innovation. We’re defending stagnation.

If we want to win the future, we need smart industrial strategy — not nostalgic protectionism.

    Here’s what that looks like:

  • Trump Just Fired the People Who Keep Americans From Freezing to Death. Literally.

In a stunning act of either breathtaking cruelty or government-by-chaos (or maybe both?), the Trump administration has just fired the entire staff responsible for administering LIHEAP — the $4.1 billion federal energy assistance program that helps 6.2 million Americans afford heat in the winter and cooling in the summer.

Yes, you read that right. In a country facing longer heatwaves and bitter cold snaps from climate change, the people in charge of making sure low-income families — including seniors and children — don’t freeze to death or overheat in their own homes were just shown the door. All of them.

  • Welcome to the United States of Surveillance

Land of the Free — As Long As You Keep Quiet.

Unmarked cars. Plainclothes agents. People grabbed off the street, mid-text.
A Tufts grad student disappears into a government vehicle. A Columbia student’s wife begs for answers: “Can you tell me who you are?”“We don’t give our name.”

Sound like Moscow? Pyongyang? Maybe East Berlin in 1962?

Nope. This is America in 2025.

This week’s New York Times story reads like a dystopian novel — except it's real.
ICE raids with brownshirt-style flair. Detainments without due process. Judges ignored. Immigrants and legal residents — even U.S. citizens — rounded up and deported or vanished into legal limbo.

Their crime? Writing an op-ed. Having a student visa. Having the wrong name, or the wrong accent, or the wrong look at the wrong time.

  • Trump Guts Medical Research So Elon Can Get a Tax Cut

Well, thank goodness. Who needs the CDC, FDA, or NIH—when poor Elon needs a tenth summer home?

It’s not like we’ve ever faced a global pandemic, an opioid crisis, stage 4 cancer or skyrocketing rates of chronic disease.

Today, 10,000 health professionals across the Department of Health and Human Services—including frontline disease trackers, cancer researchers, food safety inspectors, and public health communicators—were laid off.

This isn’t budget cutting. This is a direct attack on the health and safety of the American people.
